Swine Flu, Symptoms, Cures, Vaccine and Side Effects
Ok, let’s start with the disclaimer. Everything expressed here is JUST my opinion. I’m not a doctor, nor do I play one on tv. Nothing here is intended to treat, cure, diagnose, support, influence, destroy, grow, or have anything to do with anything at all concerning stuff that you’re supposed to rush to your doctor for, ok? Again I say, it’s all JUST my opinion.
So, our latest ailment of earth shattering proportions is Swine Flu, H1N1, and the media is having a field day with it, as usual. No I’m not trying to downplay the severity of the situation, or mitigate the suffering of those who have been infected or, indeed, died from this virus.
Wikipedia gives us:
In humans, the symptoms of swine flu are similar to those of influenza and of influenza-like illness in general, namely chills, fever, sore throat, muscle pains, severe headache, coughing, weakness and general discomfort.
The 2009 flu outbreak in humans, known as "swine flu", is due to a new strain of influenza A virus subtype H1N1 that contains genes closely related to swine influenza.[3] The origin of this new strain is unknown. However, the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) reports that this strain has not been isolated in pigs.[4] This strain can be transmitted from human to human,[5] and causes the normal symptoms of influenza.[6]
Pigs can become infected with human influenza, and this appears to have happened during the 1918 flu pandemic and the 2009 flu outbreak.
SO, pretty nasty bug, which we all know, of course. Now I’m going to share the list of things I use personally to combat colds and flu in general, again JUST my opinion, right?
First on the list is Colloidal Silver, 500ppm, and make sure you look at particle size. See, there’s an idiot out there that shows up on the talk show circuit EVERY year, yes, you know, “the blue guy”. He’s turned blue and looks like a damn smurf because he’s been using colloidal silver for years. Well, here’s the catch, the dumbass is using a “make your own in the comfort of your own home” unit from back in 1970-whatever, which makes HUGE silver particles in suspension. The problem with this is that the particles are too large to pass through the body, capillaries in particular, and they get stuck. So he has this buildup of silver in his body, a condition called Argyria, and you turn blue. Here, see for yourself!
So, the deal is, I use silver, and have been for over a decade, once or twice a day (NO I’m not blue), that has a particle size of less than 5 microns, has a potency of 500 ppm (looks like iodine), and have had GREAT success with it. Enough said, on to the next “thing”.
Next is our old friend vitamin C, with a little twist of course. I use a product called Emergen-C, which is basically 1000mg of vitamin C, in a powder, in the form of mineral ascorbates, rather than being plain old ascorbic acid. Know what happens when you get more ascorbic acid (regular vitamin C) than your body can assimilate? It’s called an ascorbic flush, the trots, Montezuma’s Revenge, the shits without the giggles, diarrhea in other words. Large amounts of ascorbic acid change the acidity of your digestive tract to the point your body simply has to get rid of it, hence the result. Mineral ascorbates are not as acidic, so they don’t cause the flush. My personal record is 17 packets, that’s 17,000 mg in a single day, without a single, uh, mishap. :) C obviously has been used for a LONG time to boost the immune system.
Now for the fun ones. Two herbs I take in conjunction are Olive Leaf and Elderberry. Each one “seems” to have it’s own virus fighting properties, and I’ve found that they reinforce each other quite nicely. If I actually start to get sick, I’ll usually take 3 capsules of each 2 or 3 times per day. I’m 6’5” and 230 pounds to give you an idea. Also, I use standardized extracts of each one, not just the herb itself. If you’ve ever heard of a product called “Sambucol”, it’s Elderberry, just so ya know.
Of course you also have the usual Echinacea, Golden Seal, and a few other immune boosters, again JUST my opinion, and it’s usually recommended to only use them for a couple of weeks at a time. I’ve used Olive Leaf and Elderberry for weeks at a time, just as a personal test, with no ill effects at all.
So, now for the big question, will all of this take care of our newest potential pandemic? Now you know, after all I’ve said and disclaimed, since I don’t particularly fancy having the black vans pull up and disrupt my peaceful little world, that I absolutely can not and will not answer that directly. :)
Our GOOD friends at the CDC have some things to say about treatments too. http://www.cdc.gov/h1n1flu/key_facts.htm
Have a beautiful day, and STAY healthy!
