From Divine To Destroy

Human Beings are capable of SO much! From acts of kindness, love, sacrifice,
and Care for their fellow man, to acts of hatred, fear, and depravity I won’t
even try to mention.

So what makes the difference between one way of acting and the other?

Believe it or not, we ALL have the capacity to engage in EITHER range of
activity and belief. The picture of loving, caring, and nurturing of a Mother can
INSTANTLY change to that of a violent, raging Beast simply by a threat to her
children.  Conversely, the picture of a hardened, career criminal who has spent
his life murdering, stealing, etc. becomes automatically softer when he puts
aside his “usual” behavior to help a lost child find her parents, then softly walks
away.

These two pictures are a simple illustration of what Each and Every Human
Being has access to at All Times.

We all have personal beliefs, and habits, that form our day to day existence.
We all strive toward a particular goal, one way or the other.
We all create our own little world by the actions we take, and the existence we
pursue.

Some pursue excellence, personal evolution, greatness, enlightenment, and
overall personal growth, in an effort to manifest Divine Intent into the world
through themselves.  What a wonderful way to live.

Others pursue the “other path”.  By that I mean control. They don’t know how
to control their own world, so they seek to control another’s world, through
fear, acts of terror, torture, murder, etc.  (I should tell you now I haven’t used
the “R” word in reference to women because I simply find the most damned
disgusting thing that one person can do to another, nuff said.)

Let’s say, for argument’s sake, that we are either “going up” or “going down”
in our efforts of attaining “personal power”.

The interesting thing is this... As you progress farther on your path, say
becoming more enlightened, more giving, loving, etc. More Powerful, in other
words, you are, by default, simultaneously Capable of More in the “opposite”
direction!

Wow, what a mind-twist there, huh? So am I saying that, as you become more
Divine, you are also capable of more Destruction by default? Essentially, Yes.

Human Beings are an odd creature for sure. Our brains couple an area of
higher function with a reptilian brainstem.  We have the ability to manifest
anything from the “highest” forms of expression of, basically, Love, to the
lowest forms of ripping, tearing, teeth-gnashing destruction, or Fear.

As one develops, so does the other.

TOO many people spend TOO much time denying this, the negative
connotation of “Catholic Priest and Alter Boy” comes to mind.  Nothing against
Catholic Priests, you understand, just making a point

Conversely, people who tread “the dark path” tend to get so caught up in the
image of what they portray, they tend to denounce the possibility of Love.

Acknowledgment of BOTH sides of our Human Nature is essential in order for
TRUE growth to occur, TRUE power to manifest, and TRUE Self to become
integrated into our daily lives. Acceptance that, even if your sole desire is to
be as “holy” as you can be minute to minute and day by day, you have within
you a “beast”, and that this “beast” HAS a place in you. Funny thing is, when
you acknowledge and accept “IT”, it will cease to have power over you, and
you will have absolute power over “IT”.  Loving the “beast” within you, rather
than Fearing it, will take it’s power away, and you will be able to use Its power
to propel you higher and higher in the direction you were headed to begin with.

Also, for those who walk “the dark side”, acknowledge that you have an
“angel” within you, and your power will increase exponentially as well.

Now the seed is planted, go get acquainted with it.
